Paul Hayden is SCC’s depot technician, and has been working with technology for over twenty-five years. Originally hailing from Georgia, Paul developed a keen interest in technology as a hobby and taught himself how to use computers of that vintage. His energy was infectious, and friends began calling for help. Eventually, he focused his attention on volunteer work with a variety of organizations and small businesses, helping them learn to use technology effectively and with less stress.
Since then, Paul has formalized his education and training. He is an up-to-date Microsoft Certified Professional, has A+ certification, and is continuing to study and prepare for additional Microsoft certification exams.
Paul’s work as our depot technician often keeps him behind the scenes, setting up new servers and workstations for delivery to our clients’ offices, and using his magic touch to diagnose seemingly intractable hardware problems and fix them…and for Paul, solving a problem is its own reward. “There’s nothing like the feeling of appreciation we get from clients after we have helped them.”
