When Chris joined SCC in 2005, he brought strong enterprise and small business experience through his work at Thrivent Financial and in a midsize business as the staff network administrator. And, of course, he brought great education and certification, including an Associate of Arts degree in computer networking from Anoka Ramsey Community College, and these certifications: MCSE, MCSA, MCP, A+, WCSPF and more. (If we wrote out all of those certification acronyms, we’d need an extra paragraph in Chris’ bio!)
Chris combines the skills and certification with a patient, genuine interest in our clients’ business needs. Whether it’s a large-scale strategic project, or just a quick idea for how to make day-to-day work life better, Chris brings insight and precision in his observations and recommendations that our clients love.
But the most important thing Chris brings to SCC is his passion for building great, long-term relationships. “I enjoy getting to know people from different industries with a variety of backgrounds, interests, personalities and technical needs. I especially like working onsite with clients. You get to know people and their businesses so well that the relationship feels like coworkers, not just clients.”
The people of SCC feel especially lucky to work with Chris, and apparently the feeling is mutual. “Technology is great and I really enjoy working with it. But, I could work with technology anywhere. For me, what makes SCC stand out are my coworkers. We work together as a team and all genuinely care about each other. Proof of this is our extremely low turnover and the great relationships we have with our clients.”
