Jamie Wolbeck

Service Manager

Jamie joined the SCC team in 2006 as a network technician and quickly advanced to become SCC’s service manager.  “SCC is all about the people.  Everyone here is a great asset to the team, offering a wide variety of different skills which allow us to fit into almost any situation.”

Actively working in the IT industry since 2000, Jamie brings wide ranging experience from network engineering to voice networking to point of sale.  But Jamie’s favorite technology solution is the Advantage Point Standby Server.  Says Jamie, “It’s amazing to see a server that had something catastrophic happen become a virtual machine within minutes.  I still remember the days of restoring an entire server from a series of tapes for hours and hours.”

As the manager of our technical service team, Jamie demonstrates his own passion for service to our clients.  “I like the interaction and eureka moments you get during each and every call.  It’s great when you can show someone exactly what the issue was and what was done to correct it. That moment of satisfaction in the resolution, and a happy customer who has an understanding of what happened is why we do this.”

Certifications and Education:  AAS Degree in Computer and Voice Networking from Alexandria Technical College, an MCSA + Messaging in Windows Server and IBM Certification in Server Consolidation Assessment Methodology.
