Katie has worked with SCC since early 2007, and has invested significantly in her career ever since. Currently, Katie is pursuing an Associates Degree in Business, and is now a Certified Associate in Project Management through the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Because of Katie’s exceptional effort and performance on the job, Katie was recently promoted to become the Project Coordinator at SCC. In her role, she coordinates communication with our clients before, during and after a project. She ensures that our project plans meet our high standards, that schedules are confirmed with clients, and that no details are missed. Most importantly, she’s responsible for ensuring that our clients are delighted with our work, and reports on client satisfaction to our staff.
When you ask Katie about her job, she is quick to share what she loves: “My favorite part of working at SCC is working with people that care so much! All the staff in our company, and all of the clients we work with, are like family. We all make it a point to go out of our way to help out whenever coworkers or clients need it. We have staff members that have pulled all-nighters, worked through holidays, and sacrificed their personal family time to help support a client in crisis. It’s great to be part of a company that really cares about each other and their clients and doesn’t look at what they do as ‘just a job.’”
